NBA 2K27 Arcade Edition is available today on Apple Arcade for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. This year’s game adds quite a few new features, including the WNBA for the first time, quicker MyCAREER progression and a bigger Neighborhood with more things to do.
All 15 WNBA teams and 180 active players are included this year. Fans can jump into full 5-on-5 games in Quick Match or head over to Blacktop for 1-on-1, 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 matchups. It’s a nice addition for anyone who’s been wanting to play with their favorite WNBA teams and players.
MyCAREER has also made a few changes to help players get going a little faster. Created players now start their rookie season at an 80 overall rating, so there’s less grinding just to become competitive. The mode also includes 12 key matchups throughout the season as players work toward getting their team into the NBA Playoffs.
The Neighborhood is a little bigger this year too. The new Center Terminal gives players access to events, quests and seasonal content. There’s also a Gym where they can work out to earn temporary boosts to speed, acceleration, vertical, strength and stamina that last for a week. Anyone who likes messing around with their MyPLAYER’s appearance can also stop by the Barbershop and Tattoo Studio.
The familiar modes are back as well, including The Association, where players can run their favorite NBA team as both general manager and head coach. They’ll handle trades, free agency, scouting and team finances while trying to put together a winning roster. NBA Eras also returns, giving fans a chance to take control of teams like the 1990s Chicago Bulls. For those who just want to get a game in, there are plenty of options through Quick Match, Blacktop and online multiplayer.
NBA 2K27 Arcade Edition supports solo play and multiplayer through Game Center, along with Xbox, PlayStation DualShock, DualSense and MFi-compatible controllers. The game is included with an Apple Arcade subscription and has no ads or in-app purchases.
