Owlchemy Labs Announces XREAL Aura Title Hyper Visor for Android

Owlchemy Labs is cooking up a new title called Hyper Visor. The Google-owned VR studio behind Job Simulator and Vacation Simulator announced the new XR arcade blaster, confirming that it’ll be a launch title for the upcoming XREAL Aura headset.

Hyper Visor is simple, but surely fun

You put on a mysterious pair of shades and suddenly discover that reality is falling apart around you. These aren’t just any regular shades, either. They’re living shades that reveal colourful fractures in reality that you wouldn’t normally be able to see.

Your job is to blast your way through these broken bits of reality, seal the rifts, and get everything back to normal. Hyper Visor turns the room around you into an arcade, so you’ll be interacting with a reality-bending experience around your own surroundings.

There are eight levels, and each one comes with its own targets, challenges, and a boss standing between you and the rift you’re trying to seal. You’ll use an energy stream that shoots straight out of your hands to smash targets, take down bosses, and repair reality.

Owlchemy also explained why a game like Hyper Visor makes sense for the XREAL Aura. XREAL Aura takes a different approach to gaming by essentially being just a pair of shades, instead of being a bulky device on your face.

So, Hyper Visor will be an XREAL Aura launch title, but there’s no exact release date for the game just yet. Meanwhile, XREAL is currently targeting Fall 2026, with shipping planned before the holidays in the US, Canada, Japan, and South Korea.

As for Owlchemy Labs, Hyper Visor isn’t the only game from the studio heading to XREAL Aura. Job Simulator, Vacation Simulator, Dimensional Double Shift, and Inside [JOB] will also be available when the headset launches.
